Would Inuyasha be better off if kikyo stayed dead?

So I was watchin Inuyasha and it gets confusing to him since he still
has feelings for her even though he also has feelings for Kagome. If
kikyo was never revived, do you think it would be a lot easier for
Inuyasha? I think he should stay with Kagome.
